La Cuisine Logo-webParagon Casino Resort will host the 12th annual La Cuisine de la Louisiane, a culinary fundraiser to be held in the Mari Showroom on Sunday, July 26th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. This year’s event will benefit three area non-profits—Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.) Cenla Chapter, LARC’s Acadian Village in Lafayette and The Avoyelles Society for the Developmentally Disabled in Marksville. Tickets are $35.00.

La Cuisine is a wonderful opportunity for patrons to enjoy a sampling of delectable items prepared by chefs from major restaurants throughout the state of Louisiana. Sample-sized appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts will be served at the fundraiser. A silent auction will take place, as well.

Entertainment will be provided by Kip Sonnier. Kip was originally a drummer, and then became a bass player for several years, before picking up a six-string guitar. In his earliest days, he was touring the Texas dance hall circuit with a band called Bayou, a band that included Kip, Trace Adkins and Steve Grisaffe, bass player and lead vocalist from River Road.

Tickets may be purchased by contacting B.A.C.A.  at (318) 792-8676, LARC’s Acadian Village at (337) 981-2364 or Avoyelles Society for the Developmentally Disabled at (318) 253-6955.  For more information about La Cuisine de la Louisiane, please call Richella Malveaux, Public Relations for Paragon Casino Resort, at (800) 946-1946 ext. 2047.
