Jena Choctaw Pines Casino Celebrates Lucky 7th Anniversary

Jena Choctaw Pines Casino will celebrate its 7th anniversary in February. As part of the month long celebration, JCPC will host Tribal members at a reception Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2:00pm. An anniversary ceremony will be held inside Cutters Sports Bar for tribal members. During the ceremony, Jena Band of Choctaw Indians Chief Cheryl Smith will conduct a traditional sage burning to bless the casino.

After 15 years of planning, the 46,000 square foot casino opened on February 13, 2013. It currently has more than 700 gaming machines, live poker, and several dining options. Jena Choctaw Pines Casino has consistently been voted one of the best places to eat and have fun by its Cenla neighbors.

The casino has other events scheduled for February 8th, including a liquor giveaway for eligible guests. There will also be an invitation-only concert featuring country music singer Neal McCoy. McCoy who is originally from East Texas, has released 10 albums, with hits such as “Wink”, “No Doubt About It” and “The Shake”. Following the concert, the casino will giveaway $7,777 in Jena Cash from 10:00pm until 11:30pm. Four winners will be drawn every half hour to share in the giveaway.
