Tori has partnered with the American Cancer Society to promote her platform, “Save Your Skin.” Tori’s platform is to inform teenagers and adults on the dangers of sun exposure.  Tori developed the “ABC- Save Your Skin” concept to help people remember the dangers of excessive sunlight.

A – Avoid Tanning Beds

B – Beware of the Sun

C – Cover Your Skin with Sunscreen, Hats and Sunglasses

Also, sunscreen with a SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of 30 needs to be applied to exposed areas especially the face, neck, ears and chest, and re-applied every 2 hours.  Finally, try to avoid the sun between the hours of 11:00am and 4:00pm when the ultraviolet rays are most intense.  Tori helped raise over $2,000 for the American Cancer Society
