New Orleans based Eric Johanson was tearing up nightclub stages in Louisiana with his soulful blues guitar work before he finished high school. His style incorporates the deep funk and soul of New Orleans with masterful guitar playing and smooth melodic vocals. Former lead guitarist for the Neville Brothers / Meters own Cyril Neville, as well as Grammy-winning Zydeco favorite Terrance Simien, Eric has performed in 49 states and around the world, from Canada to Eastern Europe and Asia, all the way down under to Australia and New Zealand. Eric has paid his dues and learned from the best, often called on stage to join the likes of Tab Benoit, Eric Lindell, Mike Zito, Anders Osborne, Jumpin’ Johnny Sansone, and Corey Henry (Galactic).
