3D Class Logo-webBeginning in August, the Rapides Parish Main Library, located at 411 Washington Street in downtown Alexandria, will begin offering 3D Design classes for beginners! The class will teach participants how to use TinkerCAD, a free, easy-to-learn online application anyone can use to create and print 3D models.  There are no materials needed for this class, just a valid email address that participants will use to create their own TinkerCAD account. These beginning classes are for anyone with an interest in learning the rudimentary skills of 3D design.  The class will be offered on Saturday, August 22nd. The course will be held in the Main Library computer lab from 10:00am to 11:30am. At the end of the class, participants will be able to create, or modify existing 3D designs to upload and print through the 3D printing station on the Rapides Parish Library website at www.rpl.org.
