The friendly creatures, goblins, and ghosts will be waiting for visitors at Zoo Boo, October 28th, 29th and 30th.  For only $5.00 per person, all ages can enjoy the Alexandria Zoo decorated with displays and scenery that come alive as visitors travel down the lighted paths.  On the “Storybook Trail” trick-or-treaters will be greeted by fun, “non-scary” themes such as MacDonald’s Farm, Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel and Disney characters, plus lots of other traditional Halloween decorations.  Children 12 and younger can receive candy and other treats from stations sponsored by local businesses and organizations.  The Zoo will provide treat bags, so please leave any other bags or buckets at home.

Enjoy entertainment by cheerleaders, dance teams, musicians and more at the mini stage and Pavilion.  Food and drinks may be purchased before entering the zoo.  A hauntingly good time awaits those who dare to travel into the Louisiana Habitat Exhibit where there are no treats, just scary zoo creatures of the night!  A skeleton crew along with a woggle of witches, swamp creatures, and ghosts lurk around every corner.

The giant pumpkin patch and more great photo opportunities await, so don’t forget your camera!  Don’t miss Alexandria Zoo Boo 2010.  Come be a part of the best and biggest Halloween party in Cenla.  It will take place from 6:30pm to 9:00pm nightly on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 28th, 29th and 30th.
