Koresh The Arts Council of Central Louisiana is pleased to present Koresh Dance Company on Saturday, February 16th at 7:30pm at the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center in downtown Alexandria.

Renowned for their powerful stage presence, Philadelphia’s Koresh Dance Company has been hailed as a major force within the realms of national and international dance. Moving with extreme physical precision, the dancers of Koresh present a show that ranges from humorous and eloquent to passionate and explosive. With a gift for movement creation founder Roni Koresh refuses to settle on a technique, instead defining himself by a signature style of ever evolving movement and an exciting and emotional blend of ballet, modern and jazz.

roni_koreshInvesting the same passion into education and community building as they are renown for on stage, the Koresh Dance Company provides diverse outreach offerings both at home in Philadelphia and on tour that connect with dancers and non-dancers ages 2 to adult. Through the successful Koresh School of Dance and a robust outreach program, Koresh enriches the lives of hundreds of students each year.

Tickets are $25.00 for adults, $18.00 for seniors, and $12.00 for students. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.Louisiana-arts.org or call the Arts Council at (318) 443-4718.  This performance is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
