The Arc Rapides Presents Valentine Concert

Standingheadhsot“Love is in the Air” for the Valentine Concert February 8th, sponsored by The Arc (John Eskew Training Center) featuring noted bass baritone Will Earl Spanheimer of Miami, and the Red River Jazz band. Tickets are $25.00 per couple or $15.00 for an individual.

Doors will open at 6:15pm with a cash bar in the lobby of Coughlin Saunders Performing Arts Center. The concert starts at 7:00pm. Spanheimer is a recent alumnus of the San Diego Opera Young Artist Ensemble and was lauded by the San Diego Tribune for his “rich, dark baritone”. He sang the title role of Man of La Mancha at the Natchez Festival of Music as well as roles in Falstaff, The Fantasticks and Don Giovanni. Spanheimer has appeared with productions in Miami and sang with major opera companies in Tampa, Hartford, Boston, Baltimore, St. Petersburg and Phoenix.

Concertgoers will hear favorites such as “Some Enchanted Evening” and “Impossible Dream”, along with the second half performance of the Red River Jazz Band.
