The Red River Chorale will hold auditions for its 2010 – 2011 concert season on August 16th at 7:00pm in the Choir Room of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 626 4th Street in downtown Alexandria.  Founded in 2005, the chorale is a non-sectarian group of approximately fifty singers from Central Louisiana.  It is open to any singer in the area who desires to sing challenging, quality music. 

The Chorale is under the direction of Dr. Burt Allen, Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches.  Auditions are by appointment only and can be made by calling the Chorale office at (318) 484-4463.
