The Red River Chorale is pleased to announce that its first concert of the 2012-2013 season will be held on Tuesday, October 16th at 7:30pm at the Congregation Gemiluth Chassodim.

This performance features musical expressions of multiple Old Testament texts, featuring arrangements by Randall Thompson, Howard Hanson, John Ness Beck, and many more. The music in this concert presents the wide array of emotions that are found throughout the Old Testament and the Chorale hopes to convey those emotions to the audience.

The Red River Chorale, now in its eighth season, is led by Dr. Burt Allen, director of Choral Activities at Northwestern State University. This current year marks Dr. Allen’s sixth year as Artistic Director of the Chorale.
