Along with LSU football, one of the most recognized signifiers that it is fall in Cenla is the Rapides Symphony’s “Pops on the River”.   This year, we’re back outside at the Riverfront Amphitheater on Saturday, September 26th with a concert we’re calling “A Starry, Starry Night”.  The star of our concert is legendary New Orleans pianist Ronnie Kole.  Ronnie is no stranger to Alexandria and never fails to amaze with his mix of traditional jazz standards, show tunes, and stories of his many years in the entertainment business.

SYMPHONY KOLE-webAs always, open seating is free for everyone, but the most comfortable way to enjoy the concert is by purchasing a table for you and your closest friends.  A table of 10 costs $300.  Food and beverage vendors will be on site, and we will again feature a table decorating contest for the most creative and lavishly decorated tables.

The concert starts at 7:30pm on Saturday, September 26th.  If you would like to purchase a table, call the Symphony office at (318) 541-6423.  For information on this and all of our 2015-2016 concerts, visit www.rapidessymphony.org.
