Peoples State Bank customers, employees and friends donated items and money to the Support Our Troop Fund created to raise money to send care packages to military members serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is the fourth set of care packages that has been sent to various troops which includes family, friends and customers.  The first was sent last Christmas, Valentine’s Day, the third in March of 2010 and now this set of ten boxes in total was mailed to a designated military member for them to be able to share with other troops in their company.  Boxes were full of snacks, magazines, batteries, personal hygiene products and special notes from area children. 

Peoples State Bank is continuing to accept monetary and supply donations and also has a limited number of red Friday t-shirts for sale.  Shirts are $10.00 and $12.00 and all proceeds go to the Support Our Troop Fund.  If you would like to purchase a shirt or make a donation, please visit any Peoples State Bank branch.  If you need more information, please contact Tori Flynn at [email protected].
