Join us for Manhattan Madness in Alexandria, August 19th and 20th. These two stellar evenings of song and laughter will unite Tony Award Winner Faith Prince and L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award Winner Jason Graae in a delightful evening of song. Veterans of 17 Broadway shows between them, this pair takes to the stage singing their most requested and memorable Broadway numbers. Join Prince and Graae, two of Broadway’s finest (and funniest) performers, for an evening you won’t soon forget. The San Francisco Chronicle recently called them “the Steve and Edie of the 21st Century!”
Faith Prince has been dazzling Broadway audiences since winning the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as “Ms. Adelaide” in Guys and Dolls. As one of Broadway’s best loved leading ladies, Faith was the consummate villainess as “Miss Hannigan” in the revival of Annie and “Ursula” in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She wowed Broadway audiences in this season’s #1 comedy hit, Disaster. Faith currently recurs on ABC Family’s Melissa & Joey and just wrapped her 5-season run as Brooke Elliott’s mother on Lifetime’s hit series Drop Dead Diva. Younger fans will recognize her voice as “Mrs. Perkins” from Tinkerbell & the Great Fairy Rescue.
New York Cabaret accompanist Christopher Denny will be on piano. Laine Berry Miller will also appear with the two stars. The three were classmates at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, and have remained close ever since their days as “starving actors” in New York City!
The two evenings of incredible Broadway music and anecdotes will be held in two different venues. On Friday, August 19th, the pair will perform in concert at Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 7:00pm for an 8:00pm concert. Tickets are $60.00 for Gold Circle (Premiere Reserved Seating and a Sparkling Dessert Reception with the Stars following the Concert), $40.00 Silver Circle (Reserved Orchestra Seating), $25.00 Adults (Mezzanine) and $15.00 Students (Mezzanine).
