During its recent annual meeting, La Capitol Federal Credit Union recognized many of the people who were responsible for the growth and development of the organization over its first 50 years.  Many of the credit union’s current and former directors and officials took a few moments to share stories of the founding of the credit union and its struggles and successes as it grew into today’s 55,000 member operation.

President/CEO Michael Hooper said, “It was an honor to recognize the people who gave so much of their time and persevered through so many difficult challenges over the years, helping shape La Capitol into the organization we see today.”
