Join us as we celebrate MayFest in the Leesville Historic District on May 3rd and 4th, the first weekend in May. This free festival features live music, handmade treasures, local arts, children’s activities, and, of course, food!
Visit our Artisan’s Village at the North end of the Leesville Main Street District, full of those unique hand-crafted items you’re looking for—embroidery and crochet, artwork such as photographs and caricatures, wooden toys, jewelry, birdhouses, homemade soaps, and so much more!
The Main Street Marketplace, full of professionals and informational booths just south of the stage on Third Street is the place to find T-shirts, jewelry, plants, candles, and other items.
Listen to our award-winning line-up of musical entertainment on the stage in front of the historic 1910 Vernon Parish Courthouse on Third Street. The music begins at 4:00pm on Friday and runs until 10:30pm. On Saturday, the stage comes alive at 9:00am with the opening ceremony, which will include Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, followed by several hours of gospel musical entertainment. A variety of musical styles will take the stage throughout the afternoon, from zydeco to jazz, country to pop.
