The Symphony will be joined by the Louisiana Christian University Chorale in traditional holiday music, including familiar carols, music from holiday-themed movies like Home Alone and The Polar Express, and our traditional audience sing-along. This concert also features seven of our region’s best high-school aged musicians in our “Side by Side” program.

Red River Chorale presents this joyful concert featuring a dozen small choral gems from every major era in musical history, from medieval times to the current time, all guaranteed to fill you with Christmas joy! The audience will be invited to join the Chorale in the singing of the “Hallelujah Chorus,” from Handel’s “Messiah.”

A small ensemble of the Symphony will be joined by dancers from the New Orleans Ballet Theatre. The troupe of approximately 20 professional ballet dancers will be presenting two works with choreography by the renowned choreographer George Balanchine.
