Gloucester Cathedral (UK) Organist Emeritus and currently Artist-in-Residence at New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine, David Briggs is an internationally renowned organ virtuoso. Concertizing all over the world, Briggs is particularly gifted in the art of improvisation and transcribing symphonic works for the king of instruments. Among other masterworks and improvisation, he will play his transcription of the final movement of Camille Saint-Saëns’ Symphony #3, sometimes called the Organ Symphony.
