The Science of Art and Mind Summer Art Camp

Young artists will explore famous artists and discover how they play and experiment with the elements to create their own unique works of art, inspired by nature and beyond. This will be an active week of stretching bodies, minds and hands. Campers are guided through thematic week-long classes teaching problem solving skills and promoting creative exploration. Students tour exhibitions, learn to appreciate various art forms, and become inspired through challenging but age-appropriate hands-on sessions taught by AMoA educators and art teachers. Morning sessions are open to campers ages six to nine; afternoon sessions are open to campers ages 10 to 12. Pre-registration is required.
