What started as a cosmetic restoration of the Red River and Gulf Engine 106 soon uncovered that he engine was unstable and sinking into the ground with a noticeable tilt to the left. Thus, the 106 must be rolled out of its cozy home in the Car Knockers shed for repairs to be made to the track. The 106 is being readied to roll out for the first time in some 60+ years.
