Dr. Katrina L. Cox will present an evening of jazz accompanied by Christina Mathis on piano in the Museum’s third floor gallery. Cox, a native of Laurel, Mississippi earned her B.M. degree at William Carey University in vocal performance, a Master of Music degree from the State University of New York-Binghamton, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The University of Southern Mississippi. Katrina is an Assistant Professor of Music at William Carey University where she teaches voice-related studies and directs Carpenter’s Wood and Musical Theater.
