Rapides Regional Medical Center offers this two-hour class designed for girls between the ages of 9 and 13 and their mothers. If mothers can’t attend, aunts and grandmothers are welcome. The class will explain some of the physical and emotional changes that occur to adolescents during puberty. The class is also designed to help parents open the lines of communication with their daughters.
