The Cane River Film Festival is produced by the Resurrection Fern Foundation, Inc, a non-profit historic preservation created by Kelly Jackson, producer, director, and SAG-AFTRA actor who is a descendant of the historic, Louisiana Creole, Metoyer family legacy. Independent filmmakers and film students can add to the spirit of Louisiana storytelling by submitting their film to the festival.
