What started as an annual feature of miniature works of art and has grown into a nationally acclaimed, adjudicated show with entries from all over the United States. The aim for entries is to stick to 5-inch square dimensions for two-dimensional works and 5x5x5 inches for the three-dimensional. The judge for 2019 is American painter and author Alex Beard, who is probably best known for his elaborate wildlife compositions created in his signature style of gestural painting. Beard will also showcase his own recent work entitled “From Orleans to Rapides: Drawing and Paintings from the Sportsman’s Paradise” in the Stokes Harris Gallery.
