El Set Tequila is produced by El Viejito by the third generation of the Nunez family and was established in 1937. The Distillery is located on 35 acres with a private spring water lake in Atotonlco, Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico. This is the distillery that produces the world famous Patron Tequila.

The spring water, red volcanic soil and the chemistry of the Nunez yeast create a tequila that is pure and superb. The tequila is 100% natural juice from the Blue Weber Tequilana Plant. No sugarcane is added to the product which is bottled in Mexico.

The agave plant requires 8 to 10 years to mature, unlike other alcoholic beverages in which the main ingredients (i.e. grain, rye, grapes, hopps, etc.) are plentiful each and every year. This Reposado is aged for 6 months and requires double distillation in accordance with Mexican Law.
