Chinese Rice


Rice comes in many different varieties. The soy sauce adds a taste of the Orient to this dish.


1 Pound Raw Shrimp, Peeled and Deveined
2 Tablespoons Margarine
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Oregano Leaves
1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
4 Green Onions, Sliced
1/2 Cup Celery
1/2 Cup Chopped Green Pepper
1/2 Cup Chopped Red Pepper
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
1 1/2 Teaspoons Soy Sauce
3 Cups Cooked Rice


In a skillet, combine shrimp and seasonings in margarine; cook until almost done. Add other ingredients, except rice. Allow ingredients to cook down, leaving the vegetables slightly crisp. Add rice; heat through. Serve hot. Serves 6.
