CASA Volunteer Frank ElliottFrancis “Frank” Elliott has been a faithful CASA volunteer since 2003. During his time with Rapides CASA, he has traveled any distance required to see the children he was appointed to, to ensure that they have a voice in court.

Frank was a classroom teacher for twelve years, an elementary principal for thirteen years and has even taught abroad in China and Korea for six years. He was in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. He enrolled in Louisiana College following the war, and later graduated from LSU with a Master’s Degree.  Frank and his wife have two children.

CASA Volunteer Frank ElliottFrank has always been a busy man, and he continues to maintain that pace.  He states that he never suffers from idle time.  His interest in CASA stems from his desire to offer himself for this service to his community.  Frank says, “The bulk of my working life was spent helping children and perhaps in some of my retirement years, I will be able to offer some small measure of assistance to other children in need.”
