CASA Volunteer Barbara BarhamBarbara Barham has been a CASA volunteer since February of 2005.  To date, she has advocated for twenty four children in a total of thirteen cases.  Her compassion and dedication are a shining illustration of what it takes to be a true advocate for children. Barbara is a retired educator. This experience drives her to push for educational assistance for children lagging behind due to their placement in the foster care system. When asked what it means to be an advocate for children, Barbara stated, “Being a CASA volunteer means being able to help children who are hurting and need someone in their lives who will love them and who will do everything possible for them.”

Barbara is married to Mike Barham. She has one son, Michael. Barbara enjoys spending her free time with her family. She is also very involved in activities with her church.
