Cabo Rio is the brand new La-Tex-Mex restaurant and cantina, located just off MacArthur Drive in Alexandria.  The name Cabo Rio is derived from its Spanish origins.  “Cabo” meaning peninsula and “Rio” meaning river reference Louisiana’s rich history as the southern peninsula of the Louisiana Purchase fed by the waters of the Red and Mississippi Rivers.  The exciting menu at Cabo Rio serves up traditional Tex-Mex cuisine with a uniquely Louisiana twist!  La-Tex-Mex cuisine is born of the fusion of traditional Tex-Mex recipes infused with Louisiana spices, sauces and fresh seafood combinations.  From traditional sizzling fajitas served with warm homemade tortillas to the uniquely Louisiana shrimp and crawfish enchiladas, there’s something for everyone on the Cabo Rio menu.  Complimenting the full service restaurant which features both indoor and patio seating options, Cabo Rio boasts a full service bar with ample seating and a dozen flat screen HDTVs for your entertainment.  At Cabo Rio, we are sure you’re going to love it!
