Bolton High School Presents Hello, Dolly! On March 3rd and 4th at 7:00pm, Bolton High School will present the classic Jerry Herman musical Hello Dolly!  Based on The Matchmaker by Thornton Wilder, the play is the story of Dolly Gallagher Levi (played by Maggie Conerly), a matchmaker who has been hired to arrage a marriage for the widowed half-millionaire, Horace Vandergelder (Bennett Fresh).  Dolly, however, has other plans.  She, too, has been recently widowed, and has come to the conclusion that Horace and his fortune will make her the perfect mate.  When she arrives in Yonkers, she immediately begins to plant seeds of doubt in Vandergelder’s mind about Irene Molloy (Taylor Barr), the pretty young widow Dolly has previously picked out for Horace.

Bolton High School Presents Hello, Dolly!Meanwhile, down in the bowels of Vandergelder’s Hay and Feed Store, two of his young employees are plotting to take advantage of the boss’s absence.  Cornelius (Will Van Hoof) and Barnaby (Price Wood) have decided to sneak off for their first ever peek at the big city.  They want to experience everything…and maybe even kiss a girl!  While in New York, Cornelius and Barnaby meet Ms. Molloy and her helper Minni Fay (Mallory Bacon), and are smitten by the two women.  This charming musical features witty dialogue, delightful dancing and singing, and countless moments of laughter born of chance meetings and mistaken identities.
