It is time, once again, for the people of Alexandria and Central Louisiana to gather in black tie attire by the river for a wonderful cause. The 37th Annual CHRISTUS Cabrini Foundation Ball–An Enchanted Evening–is set to be held on March 17th, at the Alexandria Riverfront Center.
CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital is the only health care facility in the region that has 24/7 intensivists in the ICU, offering crucial care to the patients most in need. This year’s event is aimed at the needed expansion of the ICU facilities at CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital.
“This is truly a critical service for our community,” said James Knoepp, M.D., an intensivist in the CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital ICU and, along with wife Ulla Ule, M.D., co-Chair of the 2018 Ball. “Maintaining a strong, advanced and comfortable ICU is mission-critical to the hospital’s future and our ability to care for the needs of our sickest and most vulnerable patients and their families. We have been blessed by the generosity of this community and have tried every day to repay that kindness by providing truly excellent health care services to the people of Central Louisiana. We hope to take another step along that path and continue our efforts to fulfill our mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ in this community.”
Tickets to the 2018 CHRISTUS Cabrini Foundation Ball are still available. Call the Foundation at (318) 448-6580 for more information or to reserve your spot today and help make our community a better, healthier place to live.
