Aces Announce New LogoThe Alexandria Aces have announced their first change to the iconic Aces’ logo featuring Alex with the prominent, red “A” for Alexandria crossed by the yellow scarf of Alex, the ace fighter pilot and mascot of the Alexandria Aces. The popular red-A logo will still be used for the Aces’ second season in the Texas Collegiate League. The Aces’ 2011 season will start Wednesday, June 1st, against the newest members of the TCL, the Acadiana Cane Cutters, at Historic Bringhurst Field on 1 Babe Ruth Drive.

“Alex has been pestering the new ownership group since we took over in 2009 that he needed some updating. While we put off that decision until recently, Alex has been insistent that his new logo will modernize and update the Aces’ look into the next version of the Aces,” said Eric Moran, President & CEO of the Aces.  The newer Aces’ logo incorporates the Vegas gold color instead of the brown and yellow, but still incorporates the primary black and red colors that Aces’ fans have grown accustomed to seeing on the field at Bringhurst.  The logo was completed by John Miguez of Impact Advertising in Alexandria.

The Aces will host a total of 30 regular-season games during the summer against the other TCL members, with the last home game for the Aces on Thursday, August 11th against the East Texas Pump Jacks to conclude the regular season.  The Aces are selling season tickets for just $100 per seat for reserved seats and general admission seats for the 2011 season, as well as advertising and marketing opportunities to promote your local business during the summer. The Aces and its local ownership group are looking forward to continuing to provide great, family-friendly entertainment to the Central Louisiana community.
