The 2016 City Park Players season begins with the February 18th through 28th production of Bedtime Stories, written by Norm Foster and directed by Theresa Louviere. This comedic drama features 15 characters, related in various ways, who tell stories of love, loss, redemption, growing up, and staying together. The show is suggested for audiences 13 years of age and older due to mild adult language and themes.
According to the Morrisburg Leader, “[Bedtime Stories] takes the audience on an exploration of love which leaves them involved, surprised, a little touched and judging by the howling reactions of the opening night crowd, quite helpless with laughter. A tour de force.”
Shows for this two-week production run Thursday to Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:30pm on the Hearn Stage at the Kress Theatre, located at the corner of Third and Johnston Streets in Downtown Alexandria. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticket-central.org; and reservations are available by calling (318) 484-4478.
