Matt Ritchie-webMatt Ritchie is the broker/owner of Ritchie Real Estate in Alexandria, and was installed as 2014 Louisiana REALTORS President on September 19that the annual Louisiana REALTORS Fall Convention & Expo. He was installed by the Honorable David Ritchie, 14th Judicial District Judge, along with the Regional Vice President of the National Association, Brooke Hunt.

 

Matt has been licensed since 1999 and started Ritchie Real Estate in 2003, a full service residential/commercial real estate agency.  He has served as a state REALTOR association director since 2008. A graduate of the National Association of REALTORS Leadership Academy and the LR Leadership program, he served as a 2011 state Regional Vice President, on numerous state teams, and ee was also the chair of the 2010 Louisiana REALTORS Young Professionals Network (YPN).

 

Matt is the 2013 President of the Louisiana CCIM Chapter and was appointed by Governor Jindal to serve on the board of the new Louisiana Housing Corporation. At the national level, he is the current Chair of the National Association of REALTORS Commercial Leadership Forum, and he has served on NAR’s Subcommittee for Commercial Regulatory & Legislative Issues and the Cultural Diversity committee.  On the local level, he served as President of the Central Louisiana Board of REALTORS in 2008, Chair of the board’s Commercial Committee from 2007-2011, and was the Central Louisiana “REALTOR of the Year” for 2009.
