On Saturday, March 28th, Cenla Christian Worship Tour will present a concert to benefit Arts & Healthcare, Inc. This “Evening of Music and Praise” will begin at 6:30pm in the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center and will feature some of the very best local and regional praise musicians: Josh Blakesley Band, DC Sills, Octavia, Sonz of Redemption (SOR) and special guests from Jackson, Mississippi–Bros. 4. In addition to the music show, several artistically decorated guitars by local artists including Ethel Dixon, Anna Dubois, Tammy Hromadka, Barry Owen, Margie Ponthie and Wanda Rackett will be auctioned during intermission.
This event is open to the public and will raise much needed funds for Arts & Healthcare, Inc., a local non-profit organization whose mission is to provide innovative arts experiences in healthcare settings to bring comfort and healing to those who are ill. Arts & Healthcare, Inc. currently offers healing arts services at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Rapides Regional Medical Center, Cabrini Cancer Center, Rapides Cancer Center and Hematology Oncology Life Center. The organization relies primarily on grants, donations and fundraising events like this one to raise funds to continue its good work in the community.
Tickets for the show are $15.00 for general admission (all ages) and $50.00 for patron tickets, which include preferred seating and post show party sponsored by BancorpSouth. Ticket prices will be higher at the door and attendees are encouraged to get tickets early as we expect this event to sell out.
