seussicalFresh off the heels of their standing-room-only performance on the amazing Waterside Stage at Downtown Disney in Orlando, the members of Louisiana Broadway Magic, under the direction of Laine Berry Miller, join other talented students from LBM Productions in the fully staged Broadway version of Seussical The Musical. The award-winning musical, written by Ahrens and Flaherty, is based on the works of Dr. Seuss, combining the characters and morals of Horton Hears a Who, Horton Hatches the Egg, Miss Gertrude McFuzz, The Cat in the Hat, The Butter Battle Book, and fifteen more!

 

Your chance to see this entertaining musical presented by 27 talented performers is March 6th through 8th at the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center. Showtimes are Friday at 7:00pm, Saturday at 2:00pm and 7:00pm, and Sunday at 2:00pm. There is a special Dr. Seuss Birthday Party event on Saturday at 12:30pm!

Auditions for Spamalot, the Broadway and West End musical sensation “lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail” will be held March 23rd and 24th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Rapides Foundation 2nd floor. Participants must be high school or older. Adults encouraged to attend–it will be a hoot! Performances will be the first week end of June.
