LSUA Foundation Scholarship Gala to Benefit Students

50

The LSUA Foundation is pleased to invite the Central Louisiana community to support the second annual LSUA Foundation Scholarship Gala on Saturday evening, November 5th at the Alexandria Riverfront Center.

This year’s event will feature guest speaker John Maginnis, LA Political entertainer, and the music of Irma Thomas, Soul Queen of New Orleans. The black-tie, formal evening will begin at 6:30pm with a cocktail hour and music by Uptown Jazz. The main event begins at 7:30pm with a buffet dinner by John Ed Laborde’s Panaroma Catering and desserts by Little Cakes with Big Attitude. Dinner and entertainment will be followed by dancing to the New Orleans dance band, CHOO. Proceeds from the event support student scholarships at LSUA. Last year’s event raised more than $160,000 to benefit LSUA students.

Tickets are $100 per person, and table sponsorships are still available.  The LSUA Foundation hosts this evening gala as an entertaining way to grow our university scholarship fund.  Please, help provide as many students as possible the chance to further their education.

Contact the LSUA Foundation at (318) 619-2916 to purchase tickets or for more information.
